Step 9: Returning to the Internet Accounts window

You will now be returned to the Internet Accounts window where you started. However, this time, you will see the email account / email alias that you just set up listed in the window.

If there is more than one email account listed, you can choose to set your newly created account as your default account if you so wish. Setting it as the default means that it will be the account, which will always be used to send your email, unless you specify otherwise.

To do this, simply click on your chosen email account to highlight it, and then click on the Set as Default button.

Now, click on the Close button in order to close the Internet Accounts window and return to the main Outlook Express window.

Step 10: Testing your new email address / alias

You can now test your newly created email account by clicking on the Send/Receive All button.
